A mounting kit is provided and the block has a sprung clip to keep luggage in place when riding.
The block does not project from the folding package.
You need one of these to fit any Brompton luggage.
Weight: 100g
Please Note: this luggage block will not fit T Line bicycles due to frame differences an additional spacer is required, this not sold separately, please see SJS cycles part number 62728 for the correct T Line parts.

ConsIt would be good if all screw comes in hex head.
Package came perfect. Its Easy to install. Initially I did not realised there are two screw studs on the mounting hole. Just get to remove it before trying to screw the part onto the bike

ProsDoes what it is supposed to do
This is clearly a well designed item that does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use it with a Carradice front bag and the Brompton frame. I can't comment on long term reliability yet, but it looks like it will last.

ProsTough, good value
This carrier block is extremely strong. I've built a carry system that I use with my bike and the block can support up to 12Kg no problem. I don't use the lock catch as I need two hands to lift the carry system container off the bike.

Do you sell the S bag plastic frame clip separately

The plastic mounting clip on my S bag frame has cracked. Is this a replaceable part that you sell?
SJS Customer Service:
The bag frames are now discontinued for a new style and only come as a complete frame; the Front Carrier Block only comes in this kit as pictured.
