ProsNice seize pack, good brand, cost

This pack is allowing me to carry my phone, a compact camera, inner tube and small pump - along with general food supplies for a days riding.its easy to fit to the seat post, with loops for the saddle rails. Excellent price as well right now here.

ProsGood capacity

After about 18 months general use the zip has broken thereby making it useless. I shall take this up with Carradice.
Apart from the flimsey zip, it's a good size and was envied by my fellow riders when I did LEJOG in 2017.

ProsLightweight, good design

I've got a Carradice Camper, long flap for touring but wanted something smaller for my newly acquired hybrid bike. This seemed to fit the requirements and I'm very happy with it. Carries enough for a few hours cycling each day, attached to Brookes saddles very nicely. Not as solid as their waxed cotton products but I'm confident of a few years use out of it which given the good price is great value.

ConsMaterial could be more robust.

ProsGood size and shape.

This has turned out to be a good buy. It will hold my D-lock, wet weather clothing, tools and plenty of food for a day ride. Additional items can be attached to the exterior of the bag as well. It is not as robust as the Super C Barley bag but swings less, fits any saddle and is more in keeping with the design of my 1980s bike.

Can I put a bicycle helmet into this bag?

I want to buy this saddle bag to keep my helmet. Would it fit a normal bike helmet ? If not which model can do that ?

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately this bag would not be able to be used to carry a helmet, most of our bags have the measurements in the facets section so it might be worth measuring your helmet to see if any of them would be suitable.

Does it attach to the bike by means of a strap fitting to the seat rails and seat post? Is there any further bracket which needs to be attached to the bike to make it fit?
