ProsDoes the job
Having fitted an ortlieb ‘bar bag I lost the ability to mount my front light , this extends the light above the lid of the bar bag and allows it to be visible to on coming traffic and other road users, cheaper but just as effective as the ortlieb gadget that clips into the klik fix mount, this nifty little mount does the job.

Bought 2 off these for my MTB to de-clutter the bars from lights & camera. Only used a couple of times but seem to be pretty robust, good quality for the money.

ProsWell made.
I bought a new road bike, and there was very little room available on the handlebars beside the reflector and bell already mounted. I bought two of these, and used them to support a metal bar which is a longer than the supplied plastic pipe. With two clamps holding a metal bar, it is solid and secure, and I have plenty of room for all my accessories.

The clamp body is made of plastic, but even so I managed to get the clamps tight enough to be solid without worrying about breaking them. The supplied plastic pipe would be ok for most uses (except gear shifters or brake levers!), but I wanted a longer more solid bar, so I swapped it out. The allen bolts engage into threaded inserts in the plastic clamp, so no concerns about stripping the threads with repeated use, nor fiddly loose nuts that you get on some cheaper parts.

ProsSimple and useful
This is my second extension mount (the first was on a bike which was stolen) and heartily recommend it to anyone with a Garmin or other cycle computer or who find their handlebar a little crowded.
First impressions however is of a flimsy plastic item however once fitted it’s actually very firm and rigid and pressing buttons on, for example, my GPS does not flex or bother it and lights are not too “jiggly”. I’d not trust it with anything too substantial like a bag but thats reasonable, it’s not designed for that.
For bringing cycle computers/GPS into an easier viewing position or just freeing up a bit of handlebar space this little item is excellent, fits easily and recommended.

ProsSolid, Great Fit, Cheap
Very glad i saw this excellent bit of kit, i had considered getting a Garmin barfly shipped in from the states.........$45. This little beauty holds my Edge 200 in place perfectly. A solid bit of kit that i am delighted with and saved me a small :) Easy to fit, adjust to your needs and with one twist the Garmin slides into the ideal position, about a 2/3mm gap from the stem end.

ProsCheap, not overbuilt, neat
I was having trouble seeing my Garmin so wanted it mounted in front of the stem faceplate. This is perfect for this with just enough room for the Edge 200/500 unit on the short extension.

It is built lightly, so heavier units and lights etc wouldn't be a great idea. I can't complain about it being 'plasticky' really, as it is plastic.

Consunsure of its road use
Prosvalue for money, adaptable
I bought this to mount my turbo control unit on out of the way from my extended bars. I wanted something cheap but practical. This meets all my requirements. On static machine it works well, I wouldn't like to rely on it on the road though. It comes with satisfactory fittings for that purpose but being plasticy wouldn't survive the torques required for rough surfaces.

Saying all that, it does what it has to do well, and for the money is excellent.

ProsDoes what it says
Title says it all - I needed to free up some space on my bars to accommodate a GPS holder occasionally, this did the trick. The Topeak version looked too technical, and the attachment band looked as wide as the space it was meant to free up :-( This is simple and does the job, so was perfect for me.

Can I Use This With A Lezyne Macro Drive Front Light?
By
16 Dec 2014
Hi,

In theory the rubber band type fitting of the Lezyne Macro Drive front light should allow for it to clamp up tight enough over the smaller diameter (22.2mm) of this handlebar organiser but as it is a smaller diameter it may still be able to move when knocked.

Thanks.
