Ideal size for folded down maps or instructions. The fitting, when initially installing, could be improved.

Good design , but the stem clamp didnt survive the first off- road descent !
Bit unfair really , and if I use it on the mountain bike again , I'll drill and tap the stem to mount it more securely.
It seems fine on road

ConsNone that I can think of
ProsCan be fitted to handlebar or stem, easily to read the instructions
I first used this on Rome to the Dome in 2001 and have used it ever since. As a bit of a technophobe, I tend to use my own route instructions which fold down to A5 folded size (i.e. A6) and this is perfect, especially when encased in a plastic folder. Might seem a bit of a faff, but it is always visible, never gets wet, and has stood me in good stead. Not as difficult to fit as some seem to have found it, and easily removed when not required. Highly recommended.

ConsVery fiddly fitting
ProsFunctions well
Works well once you can get the Klick Fit mount on. I found the steel strap to be incredibly fiddly and gave up and used a wide zip tie, which was much easier and just as secure.

Consklick fix fitting
Proswell built, easy to use
The Klick Fix adapter is a pain to fit, and on my oversize bars the longer stainless steel band has quite a lot of excess flapping around. Apart from that the map holder is well made and sturdy, and very useful.

ConsDon't know how the clickfix fitting will stand up to years of service.
ProsSimple, comprehensive, foolproof, cheap
I used the Chris Juden version of this for something like 12 years on tour. If I was younger and wealthier, I'm sure that I'd consider a fancy Garmin type of device This, because it is so simple, is more than enough for me, holding an OS or SUSTRANS map in a plastic cover.

Proswell made, does the job
I bought one of these about ten years ago and it is essentially unchanged excepting the new one does not rattle. It is a bit fiddly to fit but that is more than compensated for by the versatility of the Klick Fix adapter.
Good, well made, durable product.

Iphone attachment

Many thanks for the map holder - really handy bit of kit. But is there an iphone holder that can use the same KlickFix mounting bracket? So that you can take the map holder off and insert a phone holder without having to change the mounting bracket.
Hi there,

Unfortunately, we do not sell anything like that I'm afraid. We do sell an adaptor that my work but as we have never tried this we cannot say for certain I'm afraid. This can be found under part #45462.

Thanks.
Removing Klick Fix bracket

I'm trying to remove this from the handlebar as it has become loose. I've unscrewed the top portion but can't see how to loosen and release the steel strap from the handle bar. Can you help?

You need to lift the steel strap vertically to undo the bend and wiggle the plastic housing upwards, its quite a snug fit.

Thanks
