Handlebar adapter Caddy is a new version of the Klick-Fix KF850 handlebar adapter. For mounting onto vertical tubes such as stems or seat posts. Suitable for fold-able bikes, scooters, wheel chairs and golf caddies.
- Ideal for attachment of bigger bags, baskets or backpacks onto long vertical seat posts on fold-able bikes or long vertical stems on Dutch bikes
- Leaves the handlebar free to carry lights, speedometer, and other accessories
- Robust body made of fibre glass reinforced polyamide
- Fits all tube diameters; 25 - 36 mm

ProsGood build quality, gives choice of mounting

Solid, easy mount to Swifty scooter upper stem. Lower luggage position ideal. Unbadged basket can be modified to fit as well as RK bags.

Finally my bag is where I want it!

ConsUmmmm... hard to think of any, mount seems sprung so screwing on was awkward but not impossible

ProsMore bar space, lower CG and less cross wind effect.

I love the Brompton look but my very stripped down Raleigh Activ7 is as close as I'll ever get. I was running a rack and handlebar bag, which was nice but chewed up bar space which on a folder is at a premium. This moves my bag onto the upright just before the hinge, not as low as a brommie but catches less side wind and I can strap a small daybag over the top (ditching the steel rack) that my lights and GoPro can 'look' over easily. Secure quick release. Fantastic.

ProsPlacement of bar bag

I have always liked bar bags and the Vaude one is the best one yet. This would not fit on my Dahon folder because of the style of the stem and bars. This device allows me to now fit my Vaude bag halfway down the stem. Due the way it fastens to the stem it is a lot more robust than the bar mounted type. Works very well.

Is it possible to use the above adaptor to mount an Ortlieb Velo Pocket Urban 2.5 Litre Bar/shoulder Bag on to a seat post?

Presently my folding bike does not have a pig nose adapter. Can I use this adapter with Brompton bag?
