Useful bracket for dynamo lights

ConsCan be awkward to fit with a through-bolt that has an Allen key head

ProsNice-looking btacket for front light.

I was able to fit my B&M front light to it OK I'd recommend a hex-head through bolt to pass through the bottom of the fork. I had some problems finding an Allen key with a short bend that would fit behind where the front light bolts on.

ConsBroke after 20 months.

ProsPerfect fit for canti brakes on a fork crown.

I am on my second of these brackets. The first broke - metal fatigue after 20 months / 7000 miles of riding on my touring bike. I guess it was a combination of poor road surfaces and a few rough tracks and so is not hugely surprising. Given the price it is worth buying a spare and replacing when the light starts to vibrate heavily.

I recommend this product

A sturdy bracket. It is ideal for fitting under the straddle wire of cantilever brakes. It is tall so that the light sits quite high above the mudguard and front wheel. The downside to this is that it may interfere with fitting a deep bar bag.
