SHIMANO Pedal Adjustment and Cone Tool
By
13 Jan 2020
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for the adjustment tool for my Shimano Deore XT M731 pedals.
Would this be the correct one? Manufacturer : Shimano
SJS Cycles part number : 20058
Manufacturer part number : TL-PD63
Best Regards
Graham.
This is the official one, you can use other tools but if you want to do the job right, yes.

Thanks - 13/01/20
Are spare old school pedal cones available? I have a pair of vintage Suntour bear claw pedals.

I have measured the pedal axle thread & it is 5/16in like an old Raleigh front wheel axle. I have checked other trad pedals & many use that gauge. I've had no luck should I give up or can you help?
Hi,

Unfortunately as with most bearing cones they are specific to the individual item so even if you could find some cones that use the same axle it is unlikely that they'll fit to your pedal. We don't have any pedal cones available i'm afraid.

Thanks.
