Contains all the parts required to set up a second bike to tow the Ultimate Hardware trailer bike. Diameter of internal hole for seat post 31.8mm. Shims supplied to fit to smaller posts.

- Width of the swinging block is 25.3mm
- Height of the swinging block is 33mm
- Hole diameter in the swinging block is 8mm

Was to wide for my grandsons trailer bike so has to make adjustments to trailer arm to fit would recommend you measure trailer hook up and make sure it will fit other than that grandson very happy and gets all over on it

We bought a second hand trailer bike for our 4 year old son & noticed that the hitch had seen better days and needed new insert sleeve to have a chance of fitting onto an adult bike. I really didn't think we would find a spare, so was thrilled when we did a search and it came up with the SJS cycles site & the ultimate hardware trailer bike spare hitch + 3 insert sleeves of different sizes. After fitting it onto my husbands cycle & it attaching perfectly to my sons tag along we were so impressed that I ordered another one for my cycle , purely for ease of use to leave them attached to our bikes and just use the quick release to pop off the trailer bike to swap and change. I do the school run & my husband does the longer weekend rides. It's perfect!!

I have managed to lose the bolt that connects the tag 100 to the seat mount (in a very a safe place).
What are the specs - length and diameter - so that I can replace it?

Hi, this is not a direct replacement for the Ditto Adventure. You may be able to make it work with modification, but we would not recommend this. Thanks

Hi, this hitch is not suitable for the Adventure A1 trailer. This is seat post fitting, you need axle or chain stay fitting. Thanks 27/04/2020

Hi team, I already own this hitch however I have misplaced some of the included shims. I require a replacement shim to use this with with a 27.2 seatpost. Please can you advise me (link to) of the most suitable and economical shim for this purpose. Many thanks.

Measurements seem to work for the Trek.
If the measurements line up, that is the best information you would be able to access, we do not have a simple list of what works and does not.

As long as the fittings are the same, this should work. We have not fitted or tested it to be more definitive than that.

Hi,

The hitch can fit seatposts of up to 31.8mm in diameter. It can cater for a number of smaller sizes with the Shims supplied.

Will This Fit Avenir Tag Along?

We have an avenir tag 100. We have lost the shims which came with the hitch. Is as looking to buying a whole new hitch. Do you know if this one would fit the avenir tag 100? Or do you supply one that does.
Hi,

If its just the shims you're after we do offer a wide range of seatpost shims. As for this hitch as we have never tried to fit it to an Avenir trailer I can't say for sure whether or not it will work.
