Unlike conventional mirrors, Bike-Eye is mounted against the cycle's head and downtube, keeping it out of harm's way and virtually free from vibration. Its crystal-clear long distance rear view means the rider avoids the need to constantly turn to check what's going on behind. Can be used for left or right side with a simple refit (please see video link below).

- Fixes to head and downtube using Ty-RAP ties
- Easily adapted for right or left use
- Positioning reduces risks of knock damage or snagging
- Vibration-free clear and crisp image
- Available in standard or wide sizing

ConsYou have to time your observations correctly.
ProsUnobtrusive
I've got two of these I've used on three different bikes now and they work brilliantly as long as you understand how to use them.

Basically, you have to time looking in the mirror for when your right knee is at it's highest position - as your right leg comes up, you glance down, and you can see behind you.

It only takes seconds to learn and soon becomes second nature.

As with all mirrors they are not a substitute for looking behind you, but a useful extra.

ConsCons is right
ProsNone
I don't normally write reviews but am prepared to make an exception for this item as it is the most ridiculous purchase I can ever remember making and I am know spring chicken! I blame myself really. I should have known better. I did wonder when I saw where the mirror is mounted in the picture, how it would be possible to see behind/through the rider, thinking that perhaps it would be wide angle enough to provide a view. The real answer is more simple than that. It doesn't work. All you see is your leg. You will notice in the picture that the bike to which it is fitted does not have a rider. So if you are a one legged cyclist or have found a way of cycling sidesaddle then this may be for you. If this is indeed the case I would be so impressed that you still don't need to buy one as you can have mine for nothing! If however you are like me and prefer to use both legs with one either side of the bike in a more conventional manner then this is totally unfit for purpose.
