ConsSome movement if stressed. Cable ties not infallible

ProsLight, easy to fix, flexible on where you want to mount and tube diameter

Reasonably firm attachment to the frame wherever you want a cage mount. The cable ties are not perfect and can unzip if forced (my bottle cage leant something in transit in the back of the car and one tie loosened ) but they give you spares.

As an experiment to see if I could add a third bottle cage to my thorn audax the height of the adaptor lifts cage above gear cables running under bottom bracket.

ConsCage is approx. 17mm away from frame.

Prosperfect solution for frames without braze-on mountings.

Fitted Zefal water bottle cage mounting to 29mm seat tube of my Pashley Roadster (custom) frame. Mounting fits firmly with no play. The cage isn't flush with the frame (17mm away from frame) but that doesn't matter.
