Does this work with Thorn 104/65 BCD triple crank to make 57mm chain line with rohloff
By

I am building a Surly Troll/Rohloff touring bike. The Frame requires 73mm BB. If I use the Shimano UN55 110mm BB and the Thorn triple crank with the chainring in the outermost position will this give me a chainline of 57mm, or close to that?
110mm bracket required to get a 54mm chainline on middle ring,so yes outer ring will be pretty close if not 57mm.

Hi there,

If your chainset is a Shimano Exage, it should be a 68x113mm width.

Bottom Bracket Nondrive Side Cups For Bbun55

does this part come with a nondrive side cup.. is it plastic or metal.. can I use the metal nondrive side cups you supply for the UN54 bottom bracket
Hi,

Yes, as shown in the second picture this bottom bracket comes with a non-drive side cup, it is a metal cup. The UN54 only comes with a plastic non-drive side cup.

Thanks.
