Can I use these with my rims
By
22 Nov 2018
Hello, my Raven came with Ryde Andra rims Kitpart 14249 and XT BR-T780 V Brakes and I need to replace the brake blocks for the first time. The spec for these brake blocks mentions only for machined rims, just wanted to confirm that they would be ok for my bike. All my cycling is along wet and mucky country (now winter is here!!) lanes with lots of hills. I have been happy with the blocks that came with the bike, would these replacements be ok or would you recommend other brake blocks for wet and mucky conditions.
Thanks
Clive
We would recommend - SJS Cycles part number : 26866 unless you currently have blue colour pads fitted in which you will need - SJS Cycles part number : 32142

All of the brake pad inserts we stock from Shimano have 'Severe Condition Use' stamped into the back of them so they could be any of the models I'm afraid.

Thanks.
