I recommend this product
Bought these for my bike build last year and am very pleased with them. The curves of the levers fits my hands beautifully and the levers are very solid meaning that all your force is transmitted directly to the brakes with no flex. It you don't want to use STI's or similar, these are great.

Cantilever brakes?
31 Oct 2019

I would like to buy these, but am concerned that, externally at least, they're identical to the Dia Compe EVO-Vs, which are, as you state, suitable only for V brakes. Therefore, do the above differ internally? And if so, how?

Externally they are identical, the only difference is internally. These have the pivot in a slightly different place to effect the leverage ratio. This means that the lever pulls less cable to work with cantilever and caliper brakes.

Caliper / Lever Compatibility
21 Jan 2016
Hi there!

Are these Dia Compe EVO Drop Bar Brake Levers
suited for the Dia Compe Gran Compe 610 Centre Pull Calipers, or will I need different levers for those?

Also, are they of the aero or non aero persuasion? They look like aero ones, but it's not entirely clear from the picture.

These levers will indeed be suitable for use with the 610 centre pull brakes. These levers use the aero style cable exit where it runs under the handlebar tape.
