Specifically for use with the Rohloff Internal Gear 500/14 Speedhub. Rotor is ventilated for better heat disappation and 203 mm in diameter to increase braking power. Constructed from stainless steel.
3.4 mm thick. - Requires Hope caliper.

Can I use this rotor on my Thorn Nomad Mk1 S&S frame?

The frame came complete with the rear disc brake mount fitted and it looks identical to those on the newer Mk2 frames and those on the tandem frame which do take this rotor.

180mm rotors work fine, petty confident you can use a 203mm but honestly its been a long time since we fitted one!

Will this disc work with my Magura MT5 callipers

If not:
Can you supply a 203 Magura Rotor to fit my Rohloff Hub?
Or an alternate brand that will work with Magura calipers
Please advise price and approximate delivery time if available

Hi,

Could you tell me what the PCD of this disk is? Ie, what is the mounting hole centre dimension measured diagonally across. It should be 65mm, but I bought a disk from somewhere else and it's 77.5mm. I didn't even realise there were two dimensions.

These rotors are 65mm, if the other one was a different size then it definitely was not designed for use with Rohloff hubs.

What Hope Brake Calipers Is This Compatible With?

I bought one of these for my Raven Twin, which is fitted with a Mono 6 caliper, but the rotor is too thick to fit between the pads, with the pistons fully retracted. As it's made by Hope, presumably it will fit some of their calipers??

Hi,

The vented rotor was released after the Mono 6 and they had to make brakes with a wider calliper body to fit it. The only callipers they do that fit them now are the V2 and the V4.
