Can I use these with GRX levers?
By
24 Oct 2020
Wanting to go over to GRX but frame has post mount fittings so can't use the dedicated calipers. Will these be compatible?
Hello, Shimano's official stance is is that they are not compatible- however in our experience, you could use these as long you used the correct connector inserts when attaching the brake hose. Please note you can also buy a direct mount to post mount adapter so you could use your current grx calipers.

Thanks,

What banjo bolt?
By

what banjo bolt should I use?
Hello, These calipers are straight connection (which does not use a banjo). As such you will require a 'Flare Nut Unit' which will be spesfic to the brake hose you wish to use.

For Shimano BH-90 hose you will need SJS code: 30049
For Shimano BH-59 hose you will need SJS code: 40847

Hope this helps,

Will this replace a BR-M525 and will I need an adaptor?
By
15 Dec 2019
Hi
Thank you for your enquiry. These should be fine replacing your existing BR-M525 calipers & will fit in exactly the same way, if you currently have an adapter fitted then it will mount to that, if not then you will not need one.
