I recommend this product
Conscoating is a bit fragile, but hey, at that price...
Prosprice! adjustable, easy to modify
the bolts are a bit cheap so replaced them with Allen head stainless ones, otherwise, it's good for the price and easy to adjust for the right fit

I see I can't use Ortlieb bags. What front pannier bags can I use?
By

There are two holes in the plate that allow for some hooks to clamp around the bar in a certain fixed position. With some panniers the plate is a hindrance but this rack has been designed for lower end panniers with plain hooks that don't need to wrap around the tubing.

Thanks

My bike is in one place and I am in another, but I need to purchase the rack before I will next see my bike. Just want to be absolutely sure. Thanks!
Hi there,

Yes this should work, bare in mind you have got braze on rack mounts so could use a bolt on rack.

Thanks
General advice on front racks/panniers/carriers
By

I'm after a carrier and panniers for touring, to mount on solid Giant forks with drop out mounts, and threaded mounts part way up the fork. I would use Ortlieb panniers. Can you help advise me? thanks
Hi,

Most of the racks we stock would work with Ortlieb panniers, except these M:Part ones as they have a flat plate at the top which prevents the Ortlieb locking catches from engaging. You will need to check if your forks have a single or double mounting on the mid height for the forks.

Thanks.
Mudguard Attachment

How can the Mudguard stays be attached to this low rider rack ? ( Mpart low rider with hoop )
Hi,

You could either run a set of longer fixing bolts and mount them to that or you could mount a set of p-clips to the rack tubing itself.

Thanks.
Is This Pannier Rack Compatible With Disc Brakes On A Specialised Tricross Bike?
By

Hi,

This rack was not designed with disc brakes in mind and we have never tried it on your bike so we would not be able to recommend it unfortunately.

Thanks.
Would This Work On Carbon Forks
By
29 Dec 2016
Hi,

We would not recommend this low rider for use with carbon forks I'm afraid as the top fixing needs to clamp tight and carbon forks are not designed to be clamped.

Thanks.

What is the maximum diameter fork leg that can be
accommodated. Could you also indicate max tyre width.
Regards
Gavin.
Hi,

The maximum diameter of fork leg that can be accommodated is 23mm. The max tyre width for 700c wheels would be 2

Could you indicate how pannier hooks fasten around the rack.Is the top plate a hinderance?
Hi,

There are two holes in the plate that allow for some hooks to clamp around the bar in a certain fixed position. With some panniers the plate is a hindrance but this rack has been designed for lower end panniers with plain hooks that don't need to wrap around the tubing.
