I recommend this product
Consaccessories not available
Proseasy to fit, stable ride
Prompt service and good value for money as usual from SJS. The rack is easy to fit and has proven to be very secure. For my bike it makes the set up more stable having a front rack and panniers to balance the load on the back. The only draw back was not being able to order the accessories that tubus make as they were not stocked but they are now!

Tubus Tara And Thorn Nomad

The Tara has ?5mm bolts and the Nomad has ?6mm holes in the forks for fitting a rack. Do I have to drill a larger hole in the rack to accept the 6mm bolt?

We would not recommend drilling the holes on this rack out as there would too little material around the bolt holes to safely support it. What we would recommend is running a longer set of 5mm bolts all of the way through and fitting a set of washers and a separate nut to hold it all in place.
