Here is what Tubus say of the Carry Rear Rack:

The Tubus Carry, the world's lightest long distance travel carrier. The CARRY is made out of titanium tubes & takes up 30 kilos of load and weighs only 350g. The CARRY has an additional lower rail to mount panniers wich makes it a extreme lightweight and functional carrier for long distance travel. Due to its limited length the CARRY works best with front panniers. Single roundstay for central mounting to the brake bridge.

Material - Titanium
Weight - 350g (without mounting set)
Max Load - 30 kg
Wheelsize - 26" (559) & 700c (622)

Does The Tubus Carry Fit To Bikes With Rear Disc Brakes?
04 Jan 2017
I have a Ti Dawes 3ima which has a rear disc brake. Will the Tubus Carry fit and if not what can you recommend?

Whether or not a rack will fit a bike with disc brakes will depend completely on the design of the bike, it will depend on the position of the disc brake caliper in relation to the mounting eyelets. Some will fit with the addition of a few small spacers and a longer bolt. Tubus do an extension kit which can help the rack clear the disc brake caliper, these are SJSC part number 19378.

Would You Recomend A Rack See Carbon Fibre Road Bike With No Eyelets
15 Jan 2016
Hello I only read good reviews on your products. The products themselves look really sturdy. I have a light weight road bike which I would like to see if I can get a suitable rear rack for to take me lightweight touring. Can you suggest any rack from Tubus that could work on a carbon fibre road bicycle with no eyelets.

If so what pannier bags would suit.

kind regards

Alec Nayler

For use with a bike like a carbon road bike without eyelets, the best places for mounting the pannier is the skewer and onto the brake bolt. The rack most suited to this is the Tubus Fly, which is also one of Tubus' lightest racks whilst still being strong. This rack attaches to the brake bolt easily, but to attach it to the QR skewer you'll need Tubus' adapter set which is SJSC part 13340. The Fly is suited to smaller sized panniers like some universal panniers and most front panniers.
