New cassette on Campagnolo Xenon with short cage.
By Paolo

I have a rear Campagnolo Xenon 9V with 12-16 cassette and want to change it to 12-19.
I know I need a long cage, is your 48378 extender the solution?
Front gear is a triple and will be modified with 28 , in place of current 30 (longer chain required).
Kindly let me know.

It can at a push fit the larger cassette size but the set up must be spot on and gear changes must be smooth and not under load. SK 15/09/26
What are the cog teeth counts between top and bottom gears for this please?

SJS Customer Service:
Hello & thank you for your enquiry.
The Miche 9 spd Campag cassette ratio 12 - 29 t will run with 52/39 T rings but will require a rear mech extender sjs part ref 48378 to provide the movements needed to your current short cage rear derailleur.
Kind regards PC 20/6/23.
