Only Just Fits On A Triple

Consmounting system
ProsKeeps chain and pants cleaner
I bought hebie 368. The picture is incorrect. I did get it to fit over a shimano SLX triple, but there is virtually no tolerance left between outer surface and the cranks, and inner surface and the chain. Has slipped a couple of times and bumped on both. The mounting system is quite flimsy. Quite sceptical that this would be up to anything more than city commuting.
Tricky To Fit, But Works Well

ConsHard to fit. Durability.
ProsWorks well as a chainguard
Fitted this over my triple chainring with a Hollowtech bottom bracket. I had to remove the cranks so I could hook the chainguard mounting bracket over the bottom bracket. The fixing screw then had to be tightened against the plastic spacers of the bottom bracket not sure how good this is for the spacers. Works ok once it's fitted, but I can't comment on its durability yet. It does look a bit flimsy though.

I had this installed over a double chain ring with a 46 tooth outer ring. I cannot say for sure how well it would work with a triple as my derailleur doesnt have as much room to shift as it used to and I am only going between two rings. I think this chainring looks really good on my vintage mixte and the only alteration required was removal of a piece of plastic to accommodate the extra stay to the rear wheel.

Hi,

This chainguard should be suitable for your needs as it is designed to do a small range of sizes up to a 48T maximum.

Thanks.
