ConsMaybe yeah their is a dont look cool issue, when parted from your bike!
ProsSimplicity, cheap, Does exatly what it says on the tin.
I first bought a pair of these, quite by accident, whilst on a cycling tour of the lake district (23 years ago). Brilliant, easy to put on & off, keeps your feet dry, warm & all round snug fit. Easy to store, roll up like a pair of socks. Easy to dry , just pop them on a radiator. Brilliant.
Original pair now looking ragged, & frayed around the underside ot the toe, & need replacing. Looked at new neoprane booties, but didn't like, as looked awkward to put on & off & only ankle length as opposed to EAGER calf length.
Delighted to find their still available, ordered apair right away.

ConsYes, they aren't too cool!
Proscover trousers, ankles and shoes, easily folded, can be used over trainers and normal shoes easily
(Bought this pair for my son, I've used them for years).
Fantastic product, great both for longer trips and short commutes. They fold up really small so fit easily into a bag, and keep the rain and spray off of the shoes and the bottom part of trousers, so that on a short journey with no wish to change at the end you don't arrive with spattered trousers. I use them a lot when the roads are damp (even if its not raining). The good "ankle coverage" helps with the cold spots of winter use, and there's no need for separate trouser clips. I like the zips: velcro is bulky to fold and sticks to everything, and poppers easily unpop. Would zipping top down be easier?

Conscould use velcro instead of zipper
Prosdo exactly what they claim
I agree with the other reviewer that the zipper is less convenient than velcro would be. The ski gaiters I used to use had both. But other than that little issue these are a GREAT product. With my spats and my rain poncho I stay dry in even the biggest downpour.

ConsDon't look cool - Oh wot a shame!
ProsExtensive coverage
These certainly work, although the rear zips make them a slight faff to put on. My previous 3 pairs fastened with velcro or press stud flaps which was simpler and quicker. Also, spats don't have to close all the way round the back of the leg because that bit doesn't get spattered very much. So for the next pair (!) a simplification would be welcome.
All in all though, they're pretty good and I look forward to drier tights and socks this winter!
