Rear boss solutions?
By

Further to last query, would SJS have rear adaptors for brake bosses? I wish to, just like the front fork, shift from a 622 rim (700c) to a 584 rim (650B). Any suggestion much appreciated. Perhaps a new frame but I have seen adaptors by about but don’t know the reputation.
sorry we have no such adaptors, there's no substitute for the correct thing!RT

Hi
My aim is to fit a 622-50 Schwalbe almotion tyre With mudguard but if I have to move to 584-50 then this brake adaptor for 700c/650B use looks ideal. Only issue is I think the fork axis hub axis to crown axis is 435, and rake is more on the Thorn fork. I can not work out how this all affects significantly? geometry and final position once I’m seated riding.
Does SJS have a diagram of geometries? I’m not sure wheee your L1 from Crown starts. In comparison, VSF Farhaad state the fork length is 435 for the T-900. If so it means the fork here has less clearance it seems for tyres and mudguards? Page 19 here from a 2012 catalogue has the model, please note the fork is aluminium. https://issuu.com/goldbachhosting/docs/vsf_katalog_2012_lr/1?ff
if you need 435 then this fork is L1 Dimension (Axle to Crown Race Seat): 390mm this will significantly lower your head and make a steep head angle and possibly even bring the b/b too near the ground. The steering would be poor, if you need to continue this discussion it would be better by email ([email protected]) or phone +441278441522 RT
Can I use this with Magura HS11, strength wise? Great idea the reversible brake boss!

yes, should be fine RT01/05/2020
Can I use this with a bike (VSF T-900) that the OEM maker adopted a 52 offset in its fork?

I think 52 is most faithful to 50 and not 55.
Probably, on this fork L1 Dimension (Axle to Crown Race Seat): is 390mm, IF your bike is longer (I can't tell from the photo) then the head angle will get steeper so a fork with a little less offset than you have would be indicated. RT 01/05/2020
