These tyred rollers with industrial bearings fit to the rear frame, in place of the rollers attached to the rear frame, allowing the folded bike to be smoothly pushed/pulled around. A rubber bung, fitted to the bottom of the seat post, can be used as a brake to prevent unwanted rolling. Fits any Brompton ever made.

Please note Brompton have selling restrictions to some countries who have their own dealers. If you are unsure please contact our sales team.

Good Wheels But No Screws

I recommend this product
ConsNo screws supplied
ProsGood solid wheels
Bought these wheels to replace some which had worn completely to the point of there being almost nothing left of the previous ones. Worth bearing in mind that the wheels don't come with screws to fix them onto the bike. Thankfully I was still able to use the ones I had!

ProsEasy to install, massive difference to roll quality
Installed this in under 5 mins, makes a massive difference to rolling the bike around whilst folded - before it would tip over and catch on the slightest bump, now it rolls over everything smoothly.

Proswell made
These actually roll unlike the standard frame rollers. Larger diameter and smoother. A worthwhile upgrade. Easy to replace. Using some Locktite is recommended to stop the bolts working loose over time.

ProsMuch better than the stock wheels.
My girlfriend bought a Brompton that didn't have these fitted, so I ordered them straight away. The difference to the roll of the bike is huge, with them fitted you can easily push or pull your Brompton around, especially with the handlebars out straight.

If you take your bike on trains or any other location where you're going to want to move it a reasonable distance folded then I highly recommend these.

They are a breeze to fit, you need a couple of allen keys. Full instructions come with the wheels.
Strictly For Those Who Must Roll Their Brompton

ConsBike becomes unstable in folded state
ProsEasy to fit, rolls well
Easy to fit and makes rolling the bike a breeze. However it makes the folded bike unstable. When fitted, the folded bike rests on the front wheel and the right easy wheel only. The left easy wheel doesn't touch the floor. Easily toppled should someone brushes against the bike . The plus point is my shoe doesn't get caught in the easy wheels during cycling anymore, unlike the original castors.

ConsMakes brommie just a tad less stable but I can live with the trade-off
ProsEasy to fix
Brompton now just smoothly rolls. This upgrade is a must for anyone who takes the bike on trains and uses it as a trolley in supermarkets like I do. Brompton now glides effortlessly on long platforms and aisles. It greatly enhances the experience and makes me like my brommie even more.

Prossilence, easy to install, smooth rolling
Easy to install and really makes a difference compared to the standard plastic wheels.
The Brompton now rolls with easy and in complete silence.
Comes with a rubber for the seat post that serves as break (now needed because of the easy rolling)
Fine If You Can Take It On The Bike

Really interesting even if it growth up the bike 's height.
There i a trouble with the screw that is really difficult to take off from the bike and almost impossible to take on.... It seems brompton use some kind of glue on the screw to fixe the original wheel.
