Conspoor quality, possibly difficult to extract
I bought in late Aug 2019 for my single speed commuter. By late Oct 2019, I noticed that my pedal stroke would result in a small but perceptible slip, almost like a gear change except I'm riding a single speed so it clearly should not happen. I'm a 63kg rider so not putting massive power through the drivetrain. Since then it has gotten worse, steadily deteriorating to the point that it sometimes won't catch a pawl for at least a minimum half pedal stroke. Caught me by surprise yesterday when I started off from a light and slipped all the way down from 2pm to 6pm on the stroke, causing me to bang the side of my leg on the bike. Very disappointed!!!

Im looking to use this with Miche Xpress wheels, will it fit?

As far as we are aware yes, fits all standard BSA threaded hubs, I cannot see specifically on those hubs to say otherwise.

What tool do l need to remove a shimano SF 1200
12 Nov 2018
The Shimano tool is "TL-FW40" however these are hard to find and expensive. For a fraction of the price you can use an Ice Tools BMX Freewheel Tool #29021, the pegs will need about a quarter of a millimetre filed off for a nice fit or you can bash it on with a hammer!

Is the Shimano SF-1200 the same fitting as a Shimano SF-MX30?
03 Jul 2018

Thank you for your enquiry, yes this will have the same fitting as the Shimano SF-MX30.
