Do You Sell Any Mounts For Flat Bars That Will Fit These Shifters?
By

Hi,

Unfortunately not, the only flat bar conversion kits we stock are for use with bar-end levers which use different fittings to down-tube fittings.

Thanks.
Can These Be Used To Replace S-424 W/ Sis Shifters On A Trek Elance 400D?
By

Hi,

Although these should fit your frame without any issues these are designed for use with 10spd rear derailleurs where as your current shifters appear to be designed for 6spd derailleurs.

Thanks.
Will This Match With Jtek Special Thumb Shifter Brackets For 22.2 Mm Bars - Black
By

Hi,

Unfortunately not, the Jtek special thumb shifter brackets are designed for use with bar end shifters only, down tube shifters have a slightly different fitment so are not cross compatible.

Thanks.
Campagnolo Compatibility
By

s.i.s works with campagnolo veloce 10v system?
Hi, these wont work with Campaganolo as they are indexed differently, they would only work if combined with the JTek Engineering ShiftMate #3 (item #19048) or set to friction only.

Will These Work With The Latest Generation Of Tiagra Mechs?
By
22 Nov 2016
I hear that the cable pull has changed on the latest version of Tiagra, so would these still work? Many thanks.
Hi,

You are correct that the cable pull for the new Tiagra has changed. If you want to use these shifters in the indexed position then they will not be compatible with the new Tiagra, but if you are happy to use them in the friction only setting then they would work.

Thanks.
Can I Use This As A Command To Rear Derailleur Shimano Xt M786 Shadow 10V?
By
19 Nov 2016
Hi,

Unfortunately not, 10spd MTB and 10spd road shifters and derailleurs are not compatible with each other as they use a different cable pull.

Thanks.
Steel Adjusters
By

Sorry guys, i don't want to bore you, but I would like a more exhaustive answer. I don't know what it means "standard version". What I'm searching is the version for steel frame. The difference between this last and the version for alloy frame (I have already bought one) is a small plastic piece that Shimano calls "lever boss cover" or "adjuster". I'm sure you perfectly know the differences between the two "adjusters" : the alloy tipe is flat, the stell tipe is "radiused shaped". This piece costs maybe less than 2 euros but it isn't available separately, so I decided to buy a new pair of levers only because I would like to have a "radius shaped" adjuster. I would like you confirm me that the "adjuster" included in this item is "radiused shaped" and not the flat one. Thank you very much. LDP
Hi,

The reason I described it as the standard version is that there is only one version of these shifters available. The part I'm assuming you mean is the lever boss cover as it is the only part where there is more than one type. As standard these shifters come with the curved version and the flat version for alloy frames with flat bosses are available separately.

Thanks.
Steel Model??

Hi there, I would like to buy this item. I already have one, but it's not the version for steel frame. I'm searching this last. On your photo it seems the right one, with the adaptors made for steel frames (see picture three). I just wanted be sure that this is the right item. I didn't want to buy another item as the one I already have. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hi,

These are just the standard versions with the mounts to fit to any frame with brazed-on down tube stops for the shifters.

Thanks.
