ProsProduct does precisley what is claimed

I use a hybrid bike for commuting and leisure but have suffered with hand numbness and tingling from various grips, but since fitting the Ergon GP1 grips the problem has reduced considerably. With no exaggeration it is like having a new bike. The cushioning, control and comfort is to be experienced. Easy to fit and worth every penny! Also, SJS were terrific: Order placed on Saturday and delivered 1st class Royal Mail on following Tuesday morning.

Is the end cap fixed or removable?

I currently use bar ends and a mirror that plugs into the end of the handlebars. Do these grips come with a removable end cap, or is the grey/black plastic bit integral to the design?

The bar end plug is removable, to allow for something such as a bar end plug mirror to be installed.

Will Ergon GP1-S handlebar grips fit Bromptons?

SJS Customer Service:

Yes they will, so long as your Brompton has 22.2mm diameter handlebars fitted- which is the stock configuration for handlebars.

Can I Just Get The Silver Bits?

I have some GP5 bar ends on my Mercury but I want to fit the Ergo Control ends like I have on my Raven tandem. Can I buy the silver bits that go between the handlebar grip and the bar end?

Hi,

Unfortunately these parts are not available separately, you would need to purchase a separate set of grips to be able to use a different set of bar ends.
