ConsCost, no improvement over my 2 year old existing pad
ProsOk as a spare
Crazy expensive price for a bit of absorbent padding (SJS was about the cheapest stockist, its Giro to blame for the pricing).
I wouldn't mind so much if it improved on the 2-3 year old pad in my Giro helmet but despite feeling a bit chunkier it is not absorbing the sweat any better. Also, this new pad seems to be riding up and exposing the plastic frame it sit on top of, which is uncomfortable.
Its ok as a spare but if you find your old pad is worn out it might just be time to get a new helmet.

I bought the Giro Synthe pad set (medium) from you recently
Hi, we only keep the pad sets as they are supplied by Giro. They don't list any other spares or fitting kits. Thanks 20/04/2020
