High quality chromium plated steel track nuts. Integral serrated washers revolve independently of the track nut.

These track nuts are only for axles that are 9.5 (3/8) x 26tpi.

Used for the new front wheel of my fixi build. These replaced the nuts that came with the wheel and are significantly better.

I should have bought these first instead of the metric wing nuts. I hadn't realised that the axles of my wheels were ?" in diameter. The nuts went on perfectly.

Pros: High quality track nuts, cheap, good looking

Cons: There's no info on SJS Cycles that they are 26tpi so they didn't fit my 24tpi axle. Oh well, I could've asked or read the other review before placing my order.

ProsThe rotating washers

As described by SJS the serrated washers rotate independently of the nut. Used to upgrade and old '94 Raleigh Genesis Special Addition kid's bike along with a new back axle. Worked a treat, much nicer than the plasticine originals. They are standard 3/8" 26 tpi.

What size spanner is needed for these?

I currently need to carry two spanners with me, because the nuts on either side of the rear wheel have different sizes. Pitlock nut on one side is 17mm, ordinary nut on the other is 15mm. I'm looking for a nut that fits 17mm spanner. Or alternative, a single spanner with 15mm and 17mm ends.

Hi, these nuts require a 15mm spanner.
We don't have a 15 / 17 spanner, however this is available from Amazon: Neo Tools 09 – 151 – Open Ring Spanner 15 x 17 mm .

Unfortunately we have no way of knowing what the axle thread is on your bike, you will need to measure the axles or old nuts to know for sure.
