allowing shifting with shifters other than the original Rohloff Twister i.e. on a dropbar the Rohbox can be operated by modified brake shift levers, or on a straight handlebar it can be operated by modified trigger shifters or even brake levers.

This new version now shifts 2 gear positions per lever movement.

What other parts would I need to fit this to a Rohloff that doesn't currently have an EX box?

"Rohloff External Gear Mech Kit - 8213" plus this should suffice, but I won't need the included "EX cable box".

"Rohloff EX Transfer Box - 8216" plus "Rohloff Paper Gasket Kit for Axle Ring with Axle Plate Screws for Speedhub 500/14 - 8714" (for the screws) looks sufficient, but lacks the "Axle plate" from 8213. However, I can't see the axle plate in the 8213 photograph, so perhaps it's integrated and is included.

You would use the axle plate that came with the hub or purchase a separate one depending on your fitment needs, all you need is 8216 transfer box and 8714 gasket and screw set. SK 22/03/24
