Modification kit for Shimano shift-brake levers to use with a Rohbox to allow shifting of Rohloff gears.

For use with Shimano GRX810 / GRX600 / GRX400 / 105 ST-R7020 shift-brake levers. You may require the ShimKit Crown Tool to fit these (available seperately, see links below).

NOTE: This is for compatible Shimano levers with Production Year 2022 and onwards (right hand thread on both sides). Please refer to Gebla's website to see how to determine your STI's levers Year of Production. Minor changes were made to the levers that determine which specific Gebla ShimKit you require (A22 or A21). It is recommended you visit Gebla's website for fitting instructions.

I recommend this product
ConsSlightly expensive for what it is.
ProsCrisp Rohloff shifting on a standard drop bar set-up. Simple design should result in a long life/
For those of us who want to use drop bars with a Rohloff hub this is a very simple but effective piece of kit to allow the use of Shimano drop bar levers to change gear (with a Rohbox). Installation is really simple (the separate crown tool is helpful but not essential) with the only tricky bit feeding the shift cable through the lever, but that is a Shimano design issue and nothing to do with the ShimKit. When the bike was in the work stand I was a bit worried by the amount of lever throw required to make a shift, along with the heavy feel of the system, but when out on the road neither issue is noticeable. The only minor quibble I have is that the cost is quite high for what it is, but that's probably to be expected for what is quite a niche, low production volume product. Whilst slightly pricey, given the simplicity of the design I can't imagine a situation where it will ever need replacing, so it should just be a one-off cost.
