Will this increase points of engagement on a 3 pawl system

If I used this on a D792SB hub which only has 3 pawls as standard and 27 points of engagement, would this 4 pawl free hub increase points of engagement or just better distribute torque to the free wheel?
A bit of both I believe, more points of contact = reduced engagement angle and better load distribution.

If the freehub you currently have is not 11s compatible, then yes you will need this.

The free hub will only take an ultegra 10 speed on a pro lite wheel that I can't find the name of would you have any Ida how I can change to 11 speed. Thanks.
We would need to know specifically what the hub is and the age.

Can this be used as a replacement for a Novatec D882SB-X12 cassette hub body? I thought the current hub was 12mm but all options are 15mm? Its for a Vitus Sentier VRX 2017. Thanks

Unfortunately we have never tested this to know for sure but after looking at some images online of that Superstar freehub body, it does look as though this freehub body may well serve as a suitable replacement.

I have a broken Prolite Bortola spindle and am struggling to find a replacement for it. Will this fit?

This is only the freehub, it does not include the axle or any other parts. We unfortunately cannot get hold of replacement axles for these hubs so cannot supply this part for you.

Will this fit a Planet X al30 model b wheel - freehub looks the same except that it has 4 pawls instead of three - see
(If you scroll the images you can see the shimano fit)

Unfortunately it is unlikely that this model will fit your wheel. Looking at the images in the web page you have provided the freehub bodies appear to use a different bearing set up which will require a different sized axle.

Based on the information I can find on your hub from Novatec it appears to require the B1 cassette body which is SJSC part 42421.

I understand a B2 body is compatible with the Powertap SL hub (15mm axle), but the old part has three pawls, not four. Will this mess up engagement? Thanks.
Hi,

As long as they are definitely cross compatible, then it shouldn't cause any issues. With four pawls the freehub will engage slightly faster and should be slightly more reliable, but that is the only difference.
