ConsLocking nut could be made better to fit on key ring.
ProsVery well made and sound security proof.
A very nice upgrade to make sure the front wheel reamins with the bike, wherever I leave it.The skewer is very well made and fits perfect. Must remember to keep locking nut safe because removal without it would be very difficult. Only downside is the locking nut cannot, or difficult to fit on a key ring which would make remembering it a certainty. Otherwise great addition to my bike.

Is This The Correct Length For My Bike?
By

This is similar to Stuart Purves question except the dimensions of the front drop-outs are slightly different. Measured with the front wheel in place, the inside distance between the drop-outs is 100mm and the outside distance is 117mm. Thank you.
Hi This skewer fits overall widths between 110mm and 119mm, for your distance of 117mm it's perfect. Thanks
Is This The Correct Length For My Bikes

The skewers on both my touring and road bikes are 130mm from the inside of the lever nut to the end of the threaded part. Distance between dropouts is 100mm and is aproximately 110mm on the outside of dropouts. A 119mm skewer only leaves 9mm for engagement of the nut. Is this the correct skewer for my bikes?
Hi,

This would be the correct skewer for the front wheel on your bikes. The overall length of the skewer is longer but the maximum fitted width is 119mm which will easily be able to tighten down to the 110mm outside measurement that your fork is.

Thanks.
