is it compatible with the Shimano Deore M650?
By

Hi,

This freehub is listed as only being compatible with the HG-50 hub so we have never tested with any other hubs so do no know if it is compatible with any other models I'm afraid.

Thanks.
Can I use this on my RX100 wheelhub with 36spokes?
By

On my cassette lockring its written HG-50.
I have released the cassette with the cassette hub still attached, using the allen key, so still I have not been able to read on the cassette hub surface, due to not finding my tool. Anyway it is from a 1990 7-speed and it is attached to the wheelhub with 10-tooth like a big torx-looking splines, which is internal on the freewheel hub and external on the wheel hub.
For your item it says 30H which for me might stands for 30-spokes, but that should not be an issue, i think?

Does This Hub Take Hg Cassettes
By
15 Mar 2017
Hi I have a 1990s FH-HG50 Hub, with a 7 speed HG cassette. Is this the correct replacement part. Photo looks like it will take HG cassette, but not 100% clear.
Thanks
Hi,

This freehub was produced in the cross over period so it is actually compatible with both UG cassettes as well as HG cassettes.

Thanks.
What Tools To Remove The Cassette And The Freewheel?
By
21 Feb 2017
I have a old FH-HG50 and I would disassemble the cassette and the freewheel.

I will buy you the item 6384 but I would like to know what tools you buy to disassemble the cassette and the freewheel.

Sorry for my english, i'm french.

Thanks
Hi,

You will need a cassette tool which are SJSC part number 871 and you will also need a standard 10mm allen key for removal of the freehub body.

Thanks.
Broken Uniglide Freehub On My Shimano 600 Rear Hub
By
09 Jan 2016
I have broken the dust cap on my Uniglide freehub whilst trying to service and regrease the bearings. Is it possible to fit a replacement Uniglide / Hyperglide dual compatible freehub like the 30H 9801 to give me option to have either uniglide or hyperglide gearing. I am renovating a steel racer for Eroica and i am not sure if i will be eligible to enter the event if i dont have Uniglide gearing ..
