This Complete Freehub Body can also be used on the following rear wheels:

- Shimano Ultegra WH-6600-G-R
- Shimano Ultegra WH-6600-R
- Shimano WH-R601-R

I have the WH R600 wheelset and the freehub needs replacing, the original replacement is quite expensive. Is there any other Shimano or other makes that will fit the rear wheel. Also if I do have to buy this replacement freehub what cassettes will fit it.

No, as the part numbers differ there is no guaranteed compatibility between this and your wheel. This freehub will fit HG type cassette up to 10 speed

What 9 speed cassette is compatible with this free hub

I have the WH R-600 wheelset and I bought a 9 speed cassette but it does not fit past the "Step" on the splines of the free hub.

This particular freehub is only compatible with 10-speed dura ace cassettes I'm afraid.

Will it fit Shimano Dura Ace 7800 wheel hub?

Hi,

It is unlikely this will fit a Dura Ace 7800 hub, Shimano freehubs are normally very specific to their individual wheel. I'd recommend going for the 7800 specific one.
