I have a 2009 genesis day1 disc brake (alfine fitted)

My rear end was shunted by a car and the Alfine8 hub is a little broken. How much will I have to change around the bike for this gear hub? The genesis has a rear drop out, but will I have to make any chain adjustments or buy anything more than this kit to fit the frame? Thanks

Can This Be Used On A Vbrake Bike?

I like the external gear mech that this comes with, and I like having the option to have disc brakes if I later move this wheel to another bike, but my current bike build that this is meant for has v brakes. Does this hub still result in dishless wheels like the nondisc Speedhub? Does this come with the torque arm with holder, like the nondisc Speedhub?

Hi,
This hub should come with all of the same parts as the standard version (with the addition of Disc rotor bolts). The only difference on the hub itself is a different hub shell cap, the flanges are still identical and still spaced the same so it will not effect how the wheel is built whether it is disc or not.
