Auto shifting you can rely on

This one's a no-brainer. When riding in dense city traffic, you need to concentrate on the road, not on your shifters. With SRAM's Automatix two-speed hub, you can focus on your lane, and the hub will change gear automatically for you based on your speed. There's no shifter, because the centrifugal clutch chooses your gear automatically. It's a fantastic system for riding around town, with a minimum of terrain changes. If you're on hillier ground, check out the i-Motion 3 instead.

Automatix gets you where you're going, and the centrifugal clutch changes the pace along with you. It delivers automatic two-speed shifting, no shifter required.

SRAM Automatix eliminates the distractions for a ride that's safer, easier and more fun!

I planing to install this hub on my surly troll.
Any parts require? Ex. Brake Arm / Brake Arms clip.

Hi

This hub is for a bike with an OLN dimension of 130mm between the dropouts, according to the Surly website the troll has an OLN of 135mm so unfortunately this hub will not fit & we cannot source this product with the 135mm measurement required. Regards

Hi, What size spokes would I need to fit this a 700c rim?

Also what would be the smallest sprocket that could fit this hub?
I was thinking maybe a 15.
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,

The spoke length will vary depending on which rim it is you intend to use, there is a variation between where the nipples sit on most 700c rims. The smallest sprocket that this hub is designed to accept is a 16T.

Thanks.
