Switched headlight for hub dynamos.

The Lumotec Lyt offers not only great light yield and distribution, it is also positioned as an interesting alternative in price when compared to halogen headlamps. This way, it caters to all those cyclists that could not yet devide to go for the light revolution "IQ-TEC". Apart from that, the headlight also excels in other areas that come to mind when Busch & Muller is mentioned: superlative technology and attractive design. A computer designed lens system spreads the light of one high performance LED evenly and extensively, so that the road is lit by a brilliantly white cone of light. The Lumotec Lyt reaches a light output of approx. 25 Lux. Light at close range sinificantly improves riding safety. In addition, the Lumotec Lyt features an attractively compact design integrating the front reflector that is mandatory in Germany.

Details:
- LED headlamp with new lens system guarantees a brilliant and homogenous light spread
- Light at close range
- Attractively compact design
- Solid stainless steel mounting bracket
- 62 mm diameter
- Standlight feature

I recommend this product
ProsGood Standlight function, Bright
Bought this to replace a halogen standlicht I managed to break. It is noticeably brighter and shows a good 'pool of light' far enough in front of the bike to show up potholes etc. Visibility from the side is good and the light stays on after riding for just a few metres. The export connectors make running wires to your rear light easier too.

Good light, definitely better to get the 'plus' as the standlight is pretty useful

Dear Sir.

Does this light have over voltage protection built into it? I need a light for use with a Shimano DH-3N20 dynamo hub that does not include over voltage protectuion. Thanks. Neil Slade.
Hi,

This light does have this built in so will be fine for use with that Dynamo.

Thanks.

Hi, Can I use this with my existing dynamo which is an "i-LIGHT" by SRAM, model number K388, with output 6V 3W? My dynamo powers the front light and rear light on my bike (only the front light needs replacing). Thanks.
Hi,

This light should be fine for use with your Sram I-Light dynamo hub.

Thanks.
Is This Compatible With A Shimano Hub Shimano Dh2N35Nt
By

I have a Giant Liv Flourish bike with a Shimano hub dynamo on the front, the little light doesn't seem t be branded, I can't see very well. I want a light with a standlight as well, would this light be compatible? Thanks.
Hi,

You will need to fit a Shimano type connector to the end of the wiring (either by re-using your old one or buying a new one SJSC part 6476) but otherwise it will be perfectly compatible.

Thanks.
