ConsNeeds tools and skill to fit
ProsBright (light and reflector)
Very bright LED and excellent reflector. You'll need an M5 Nyloc nut, wire, spade terminals, crimping pliers and heatshrink to fit this. The spade terminals are very tight (alsi the case with a few other B&M lights) and needle-nosed pliers help here. The female connector must push all the way on until you hear/feel a click!

Solid, German product. Easy to fit. Substitued for blown B&M Secula (3 years old).
Dont carry on cycling if the front light stops as the over power function is only temporary!

This light is great, with this mount you can mount it on the seatpost and it is therefore ideal when used with a dyno hub and front light on a road bike.

ProsBrigtt and standlight
Very bright, reliable and well made. Standlight is an essential feature for a dynamo lamp. I would have liked a seatpost mount version, because this one is a bit vulnerable on the tear of the mudguard, otherwise a faultless bit of kit.

I bought this light to replace an identical one. It had burned out after many years of reliable service. Like all B&M products it is hard to fault. It is eyecatchingly bright, very reliable, and you only have to roll a few yards to charge the capacitor so you are never left unlit at a junction.
Team this up with a hub dynamo and a B&M super bright LED front lamp and you have an all year, all weather light set that you can totally rely on, costs nothing to run, and takes no effort.

Conswiring
ProsBright, Stand-light
This is a brilliant light (quite literally!). Its far brighter than any of my previous battery or dynamo back lights, and the stand light means I don't need a battery light to back-up the dynamo at junctions.
Only down side is wiring it with fiddly spade connectors - just make sure you get the polarity right BEFORE you cut the wires to length!
