RL720 Headlight and flash backup luggage carrier rear light

Front Light: Lights up the road when you ride.
Rear Light: Flashes and continues after you stop.

Product no.: RE-00720

The RL 700 is the right choice if you need a bike light which lights up the road where there is little or no street lighting. It is a no-friction dynamo with a front light with a powerful beam and which throws a wide cone of light onto the carriageway.

The bike light has side position lights which emit the light through small holes at angles of as much as 270°, greatly increasing visibility in the traffic. Both the front and rear lights have E-approved reflectors. The front light is fitted to the fork crown above the front wheel and the rear light is fitted to the luggage carrier.

RL700 front and rear lights are powered by a dynamo which is mounted on the seat stay. The bike light produces its own environmentally friendly induction power by means of a coil in the dynamo and magnets on the bicycle spokes completely without the use of batteries. The lights are permanently mounted, so you always have them with you. The light is always on whenever you cycle, which makes you extra safe in the traffic day and night.

Magnet-powered bike lights mean no more flat batteries, no forgotten bike lights, no friction when you cycle just lights which are always on and always safe.RL700 is sold as a set with front and rear lights.

Can i use the reelight-rl720 on a small wheel?
27 Jun 2018
I've bought a swifty scooter zero recently, and need to put lights on for an evening/night run on it.

Ideally i'd like a dynamo set up and have been considering a front hub dynamo. But have seen the Reelight set up.

the wheels ar 16" 305s

my questions.

1. Will this fit a 16" 305 wheel?
2. how powerful is the headlight?
3. could my edelux headlight work with the dynamo?

Hi there,

We have no experience of using these on a smaller wheel, they would not work with a hub dynamo though.

Will the lights stay on for a short time when I stop at traffic lights?

Rear light rack-mount spacing
17 Apr 2018
Could you confirm whether the spacing of the fittings for the rear light rack-mount are 50mm, 80mm, or adjustable between either spacing?

Thank you for your enquiry. The rear rack light is adjustable between either spacing, the two rear bolts can be slid between either measurement depending on which one you require.

Kind Regards
How do I choose a luggage carrier mounted rear light?
11 Feb 2018
Hi there,

The description says "The rear light is fitted to either the luggage carrier or the seat post depending on which model you choose." but I see no way of choosing the luggage carrier model of rear light, could you help me with this please?

Many thanks,
Hi there,

this light is the luggage carrier mounted one. I have updated our description.
