Which spokes are compatible with this rims?

Hi. I'm looking to build a a wheel set for upgrading a 2017 Brompton and I would like to know which spokes are compatible with this rims when using the Brompton 3-Spd WR Hub for the back wheel and Jtek's extra Light Front Hub.

Also, how does these rims compare to Sun CR18 rims inn terms of strength and weight.

Hi there,

Standard J bend spokes and 12mm brass nipples are what we would recommend - such as the Jtek spokes we stock.

We would suggest the CR18 is possibly a stronger rim due to the spoke eyelets and box shape.

We have build many CR18s with no issues to note, whereas currently we have only used a small amount of the Kuosac aluminium rims, we have no reason to suggest they would not be long lasting and they seem very well made.
