SJS Customer Service:
We recommend taking a look at the Cane creek website for info regarding which elastomer to use for a given weight. Sadly we cannot fit this prior to postage.

What additional parts do I need to fit it to a standard Brompton seat post?

Cane creek thudbuster St
Thank you
Thank you
SJS Customer Service:
Hi, this will not fit to a standard Brompton seat post without major modification. You would need to cut the Brompton post to get a 'straight' tube, then work out the diameter differences and find a clamping system to secure the Thudbuster. There are no off the shelve parts. Thanks 20/04/2020

By Jim Teape

SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
There isn't a Thudbuster made in 29.8mm so you will need to use a shim to allow it to fit your frame, we stock these and they are SJSC part number 22922.
Thanks.

Setback On Crane Creek Thudbuster Seatpost?
By Barry Evans
08 Mar 2016
What if any is the (effective) setback on the Cane Creek Thudbuster ST (and LT if different?) seatpost?
Thanks
Thanks
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
The set/lay back on the Thudbuster ST when it is not being compressed is 10mm, the LT has 20mm of lay back when it is not being compressed. Both of these numbers increase when pressure is applied to the the seatpost.
Thanks.
