ProsGood quality
I bought these in conjunction with a couple of Ryde rims to replace sprint rims and rusty spokes. I bought an extra pack of 6 in case there were any defective spokes. I need not have bothered. 250 miles later and both wheels remain true. I'm impressed!

Not much to say as it's a spoke. Great you can buy in small quantities for a repair. Stainless steel should last the test of time.

ProsGood value, well made, large size range
Replaced all my Specialized Rockhopper rear wheel spokes after salt corroded the alloy nipples with these Jtek spokes! I couldn't get the cheaper British spokes in 264mm size. Over 30 years since I last built a wheel and these spokes are slightly thicker (2mm) than the originals but seated well and were easy to thread. Seem to tighten up well and wheel nicely trued without too much effort. I used a cheap turbo trainer with a makeshift wood and metal angle with threaded bolts clamped as a truing jig. Cheaper than a purpose made jig!

I Am Not Familiar With The Spoke Length Options, How Do I Choose The Right Length ?
By
06 Apr 2017
Hi,

If you're replacing spokes in a wheel you already have you'll need to measure your previous ones (on both sides) to gain the correct lengths. If you're building a new wheel then you'll need to measure your hub and rim and use an online spoke calculator to work out the lengths you need.

Thanks.
Fg2.3 = 2.3Mm?
By
21 Nov 2016
I'm new to wheelbuilding, and need to know what size those spokes refer to.

Am I correct in understanding that FG2.3 = 2.3mm, so I should refer to those readings when using the ParkTool spoke tension meter?

Thank you.
Hi,

That FG2.3 is referring to the spoke rolling size, the spoke is still a standard 2mm spoke so should be set to the correct tension to match this.

Thanks.
