STI Lever Identification
In order to know what spare parts are available and compatible with your Shimano STI Lever you will need the Shimano "ST code".
This denotes the model and series of your STI Lever.
If you need our help finding parts and spares we will will ask you for the Shimano code for your component.
The ST code is not in the same place on all shifters.
On newer STI shifters the code is marked on the inside of the lever blades.
ST code (Highlighted in Blue) on the lever blade on newer shifters.
ST code (Highlighted in Blue) is under the rubber cover on older shifters.
You may need to completely remove the rubber bracket (lever) covers and some handlebar tape.
