STI Lever Identification
In order to know what spare parts are available and compatible with your Shimano STI Lever you will need the Shimano "ST code".
This denotes the model and series of your STI Lever.
Note: The ST code is not in the same place on all shifters.
You may need to completely remove the rubber bracket (lever) covers and some handlebar tape.
On some STI shifters the code is marked on the inside of the lever blades.
If you need our help finding parts and spares we will ask you for the Shimano code of your component.
