Not much to say... Ordered this part as a replacement for a gear selector I broke in a crash. Contrarily to the HSA650 gear selector my bike originally had, this one does not have a "window" on the side to ease the adjustement of the indicator spindle. However, this can be done through the opening at the bottom.

Would this work to replace a HSA488?

Hello, I have a sturmey archer X-RD5 hub which has a HSA488 gear selector guide on which has broken. I am struggling to find a replacement and this model (HSA650) keeps coming up instead. So would this model work on my bike as a replacement?? Regards Rebekah

Will this fit a chopper

Can you tell me if the hsa650 will fit a mk3 Raleigh chopper. If not do you have the tensioner for one.

We simply do not know, we have very little experience of the Raleigh Chopper and its fittings etc.
