ProsA quality tool
Bought to remove the skf bbs on my tandem. The plastic threaded sleeves on the skf bb seemed likely to damage easily so I wanted the correct tool. This tool fitted perfectly and did the job.

IT IS REALY A GREAT TOOL, I DID REMOVE THE BOTTOM BRACKET VERY EASILY, ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO HAVE IN YOUR TOOL KIT.
WHITOUT IT = NO JOB DONE.
I RECOMMENDED IT FOR SURE.

Can I use this Shimano removal tool on a Phil Wood BB?

I have installed PH on my Diamond Frame touring bike and now want to use a new JIS tapered Shimano BB on my Brompton. Installation requires this Shimano tool - but I have 2 PH tools. Can they be used instead of this Shimano too - and vice versa?

We do not stock the Phil Wood BBs or tools so I would not be able to check for you. I would say its better to purchase the Shimano tool and be safe!
