I used to have a proper sized version of this tool about 40 years ago, and it was brilliant.
This version is too small by about 25-30% which makes it impossible to use without some bending to make its jaws wider, and increase the size of the loops which go over the brake shoe bolts or nuts. Particularly with domed nuts, it cannot get a purchase on them without those loops being enlarged.

Consfiddly to get onto wider brakes
Prosbetter than nothing
Very small width range. This was obviously designed for compact road racing bike brakes. It can still be used with wider brakes by clamping onto the pads rather than the brake arms. Not sure why the handle is not welded on solid top and bottom?

Conslimited to older bikes and one sort of brake system
ProsDoes it job and makes cable adjustmant easy
Does it's job but is restricted to older bikes. If it had a larger opening it would be more versatile on other type of bikes.

Does it's job and is a handy piece of kit but expensive because of limited use. Company and delivery good would buy from them again.

Purchased a third hand tool from you but there are no instructions on how to use it, please advise

We don't have any instructions for these I'm afraid, they should just sit over your wheel and hold your brake blocks in place to help you adjust the cable.
