Details
- The simplest, easiest, lightest and most versatile tubeless inflator system out there
- By interfacing with aluminium drinking bottles, the milKit Booster removes the need for a dedicated pressure reservoir, finally making back country tubeless inflation a practical option
- Just screw the head onto the bottle, use your hand pump to pressurise it to up to a maximum of 160 PSI and then press the head onto any Presta valve to mount the tyre
- Direct connection with no hose between the pressure chamber and valve means the initial rush is delivered instantly, increasing the chances of getting a seal first time
- 750 ml air reservoir is big enough to mount even stubborn tyres whilst still fitting into standard bottle cages for easy portability
- Clean, oil free valve means the bottle is not contaminated and can be safely used for drinking water as well as inflation, a standard drinking bottle screw cap is included
- Will not degrade your sealant or freeze in use, unlike CO2 based systems
- The head is made from super tough PA 66 polyamide, weighs just 18 grams and comes with it's own drawstring carry bag, ideal for bike packing or touring
- Designed in Zurich, Switzerland, made in the EU

I recommend this product
ConsNot really a trailside solution and needs Valves to be most effective
ProsWorks well as CO2 alternative in home workshop
I got this today to help me with seating a 27.5X3.0 fat tire onto a 38mm rim I had been having difficulty with, where 16g CO2 cartridges were just not up to the job.
Even SJSC sales guy was doubtful to whether it be up to the job (I was mounting wire rim tyres).
It took three attempts however did work.
You really do have to charge it to the max 116psi, which I doubt you would achieve with a standard trail pump.
The draw back: as soon as the tyre seats the bead may come straight back off if you use standard UST valves, as there isn’t a non-return built in and leaving the valve core in does not achieve the aim. SJSC guy did say this would be a problem.
In summary, more a gimmick (as suggested by SJSC), the real Milkit hero is the valve.
So would I recommend it? I would say yes, but only as it is a re-useable home workshop alternative to CO2 cannisters which I never seem to have enough of when I need them (last night comes to mind). Keep the CO2 in your trail kit :-)
