ProsEasy to fit, strong walls, light enough, run smooth and quiet while still giving good grip
I fitted the tyres to my gravel bike with no problem, I was quite surprised when I took them outside of their boxes how substantial the carcass was for a reasonably light tyres.
I have donea few 20 mile mixed surface and a couple of hilly 50s, I am pleased with them,

ConsEnsure the valve is correctly position when fitting tubeless.
ProsEasy to fit, ride well on all surfaces.
Easy to fit tubeless tyre.
These tyres almost fitted themselves, just to ensure the valve was correctly positioned. Ride well off road but I haven't tried them in the wet. I would recommended these tyres to anyone who mixes road and trail.
Easy fit top tubeless tyres.

ConsNot cheap but good tyres arent.
ProsHigh Quality. Easy fitting. Do job.Fast rolling.
Bought these for gravel and 3 Peaks CX after reviews and talking to someone who'd done 3Peaks tubeless. Didn't get in - however if I had tyres would have been fine. Went on easy - no need for soapy water - went up first time using home made air reservoir ( pop bottle) on Stans Grail rims. Great on mixed surfaces - wouldn't be great in mud but they aren't supposed to be.
Not So Great Off-Road

ConsNot durable
ProsFast on road
After using these tyres for a year now I can say that on gritty back lanes these tyres are good. They are fast and roll well (I did a 250km ride on them).

However, take them anywhere with sharp gravel or rough trails and they aren't very durable.

After two punctures that were too large for Stans sealant to seal I have reluctantly decided that they aren't suitable for the terrain I ride on.

I'd say they were more like robust road tyres than gravel tyres.

ProsEasy tubeless, fast on road, fast on gravel
I bought a pair of these to replace some 1st generation Clement MSO tyres. The MSOs were great tyres, but wore quickly and weren't easy to set up tubeless (the newer ones are tubeless).

The G-Ones inflated tubeless without sealant and held 60psi for several hours. Once sealant had been added and I'd done a ride and re-inflated they have held air very well.

They grip well on the road and even on very rough/stony trails they cope admirably. Obviously they don't have the grip of MTB tyres, but the trails are still rideable. Only when faced with a thin layer of mud on top of a hard surface do they lose grip.

On country lanes with a gravel section in the middle they are very stable when switching from one side to the other with no noticeable lack of grip on the gravel (the sort of manoeuvre that can be scary on road tyres).

Hello, is the 700x38 version 70 or 100 kg rated?
By

The 700x38 is rated at 100kg.
Seems impossible to get hold of these tyres in any size in tan wall configuration.

I'm looking for tubeless 38mm G-One tyres in Tan wall.
Unfortunately it seem most of the tan wall versions are OE specced.

Hi will these fit into normal clincher rims please?

Hi. Do These Tyres Come With A Valve Or Do I Have To Buy That Separately? Thanks
By

Hi,

These tyres doe not come with the valves so they will need to be purchased separately if you do not already have a set. We stock these and they are SJSC part number 26123.

Thanks.
Are The 700C Scwalbe G-One Tyres You Have For £35 Definitely The Tubeless Version?
By

Sorry to ask but the price seems to good to be true as it falls more inline with the non tubeless version
Hi,

These are definitely the Evolution line tyres that are the tubeless easy versions.

Thanks.
