I got over a year on these before the back started getting a bit low on tread. They are great in dry and wet for road use and excellent value. Highly recommended for any one else who is weird like me and has 451 rims.

In the picture the tire is black, but it was produced in black and white, does it have a white stripe on its side?
Hi there,

The tyres are all black.

What Puncture Resistance Tyres Can You Supply To Fit Weinmann 451X16Mm Rims?To

None of the tyres we have in the 451 size were ever designed with puncture resistance as the top priority. Of the tyres we have the toughest and most puncture resistant one is the Schwalbe Durano, these are SJSC part number 39088.

Hi I am looking for some tyres for a Raleigh Shopper 20" bicycle. The original tyres are marked Michelen 20 x 1 3/8 or 37 451. I recently bought some 20 x 1.75 replacements and a Schwalde 20" tyre but they both seem way too small compared to the original and would not fit. Any suggestions? Thank you

The 451 size is the bead seat diameter, this is the effective inner diameter of the tyre and is also what tells you if a tyre is going to fit a rim or not. Because of this any tyres that don't say 451 aren't going to fit and all the others that do say it should, they may be different widths, this is the 37 size. If you line both of these numbers up then the tyres will fit.
